Kijiji 2010

The 2010 Kijiji Race was an mountain bike race organized by the Safari Simbaz and sponsored by Sossi. It was held in Kikuyu with cross-country world-cup style laps. This format was geared to introduce the sport to both riders and spectators from around the Kikuyu area as it is an excellent spectator sport.

 

The rides who were basically looking for a new addition to the sparse MTB race scene also experienced the benefits of lap racing such as improving skills by riding a challenging course more than once and anticipating how to ride the next lap.

The race turned out to be a family fun for all involved with Davidson Kamau of the Simbaz emerging as the winner.
